The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria has confirmed the appointment of Mr Moses Bako as the acting secretary of its Kogi State chapter.
In a signed letter, national secretary Patrick Okpavuerhe announced the confirmation of Mr Bako’s appointment following the demise of its state secretary Shina Akande.
“Following the recommendation of the Kogi State chapter of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON, the National Headquarters of our great organisation wishes to officially inform you of your appointment as the acting secretary of the Kogi State chapter of YSFON,” said Okpavuerhe.
“This honour is in recognition of your immense contributions to youth sports development in Kogi State and indeed Nigeria.”
He will fill the void left by Mr Akande who recently passed away, and his appointment takes immediate effect.
Until his latest appointment, Bako previously served as the secretary of Lokoja Local Government chapter of the sports association.
