The Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world has become a very serious health challenge.
To this end, the State Government has directed all of us in each LGA to enforce the social distancing procedures. Churches, Mosques, beer joints and other social gathering are hereby banned from congregating in Mopamuro till further notice to contain the virus and protect our people. Weddings and burials shouldn’t attract crowd anymore as people are advised to stay at home.
All these efforts are in the interest of our people. Religious leaders should also join their voices to pray for the world and the nation.
We also want to make it clear that the directives will be fully enforced by security agencies as I will be leading my team on village by village Sensitization from tomorrow.
