Mohammed Farouk who was declared missing weeks back at Lafia quarters in Okene has been discovered dead by the police in a thick forest along Obeira – Egge road in Adavi Local Government Area of the State.
Addressing journalists at the weekend, the state Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Saidu Madawaki said the decomposed body of the victim whose head and private parts were cut off, was found following the arrest of two suspects, Saka and Wahab Eya, who led the police to the forest where the remains of Farouk was found.
Madawaki said the suspects will soon be charged to court after investigation has been concluded, adding that it would ascertain whether the killing has ritual undertones.
