A youth leader and ward financial secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Idah local government, Hon Mikail Suleiman has urged the good people of Idah State constituency to vote for Hon Suleiman Atajachi, an aspirant of the state assembly vying on the platform of the ruling APC.
The call which was made during the declaration of intent by the latter was made in the presence of the chief Administrator of Idah local government area, Hon Suleiman Amodu, Member representing Idah constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Haruna Idoko and the honorable commissioner for youth and sports development, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu who are expectedly giving support to the ambition of Hon Suleiman Atajachi.
Hon Mikail made the charge while addressing a cross section of party faithfuls during the latter’s declaration of intent at Igala-Ogba ward in Idah local government area of Kogi state citing the antecedents of the intending lawmaker as the yardstick for his support.
In his words, “Hon Atajachi is our own and deserves every support. Not on the basis of formality but for his merit and humane disposition. He has been very consistent and focused on representing Idah constituency and the best time to support him is now.”
“If we look at his political antecedents, he has never betrayed the youths and apart from carrying everybody along, his reign as local government chairman of Idah was greeted by unprecedented achievements in both human and physical development.” He said.
Earlier, Hon Suleiman Atajachi vowed to improve on the legacies of the serving member if elected noting that his aspiration is born out of his zeal to translate his visions and yearning for the people of Idah into reality through erudite legislation and egalitarian stewardship.
It will be recalled that Hon Suleiman Atajachi who is a former chairman of Idah local government area had earlier picked his nomination and expression of interest form at the party secretariat penultimate week, a development that saw to him been screened last week and hence, fully ready for the party primary election scheduled for Thursday, 4th October, 2018.
