An aspirant for the Yagba Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Engr. Edward Olatunji Meseko, has met with Ward Coordinators of the Ire Yagba Movement from Yagba West Local Government Area, urging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and strengthen support for his aspiration.

The meeting, which was held in Ilorin on Friday, brought together key coordinators working across wards in Yagba West under the Ire Yagba campaign platform.

Addressing the coordinators, Meseko emphasised the importance of unity, dedication, and strategic engagement at the grassroots level, noting that the success of the movement depended largely on their commitment.

He charged them to remain focused and consistent in reaching out to constituents, educating them on the vision of the Ire Yagba agenda, and mobilising support ahead of the forthcoming political process.

“Our strength lies in our connection with the people. You are the bridge between this vision and the grassroots. I urge you to stay committed and continue to spread the message of hope and development that Ire Yagba represents,” he said.

Meseko reiterated that his aspiration was driven by the desire to bring inclusive development, effective representation, and improved welfare to the people of Yagba Federal Constituency.

He also encouraged the coordinators to uphold discipline and unity within their ranks, stressing that internal cohesion would be critical to achieving the movement’s objectives.

Speaking on behalf of the coordinators, Pastor Dada Adekunle expressed appreciation to Meseko for the engagement and pledged their continued support for the Ire Yagba project.

The coordinators reaffirmed their readiness to mobilise support across all wards in Yagba West and work towards ensuring the success of the campaign.
