Mentor-Box Launches Kogi Jobs Project for Youths, Targets 1000 Beneficiaries

Mentor-Box Foundation; Kogi State’s foremost Innovation Hub and Business Incubator is set to launch the Kogi Jobs initiative aimed at creating job opportunities for at least 1000 youths in the State.

A statement by the Executive Director of the organization, Eunice Emmanuel-Bagi explained that two year project is aimed at bridging existing skill gaps and employability challenges faced by many young graduates in the Nigerian Labour market.

She noted that the Kogi Jobs project, in line with the New Direction blueprint for Human Capital Development and Job Creation will cater to the employability needs of rural and urban youth across the three senatorial districts of the state.

She explained that the initiative was birthed through a multi-stakeholder collaborative effort and will be implemented across three program areas namely; Digital Skills Training, Job Matching/Placement, Enterprise Development and Business Incubation.

According to her, the Kogi Jobs project is in tandem with the vision and mission of Mentor-Box Foundation to create opportunities for innovation, job creation and sustainable economic growth in Kogi State.
