The November/December 2014 Maternal and Newborn Child Health week kicks off on 8th December in Lokoja, the state capital.
This was the outcome of the meeting of the stakeholders planning meeting which held at the conference room of the state Ministry of Health.
According to the schedule of activities towards the exercise, the Social Mobilization Activities is slated for November 24th to December 12, state level micro plan/ implementation and training for STFs, LGA DDHC, state monitors held between 1st and 2nd of December.
On 3rd of December, the LGA level micro plan/ implementation training is to be held while on the 4th of December the ward level implementation training.
The schedule also shows that verification of micro plans/ state of preparedness meeting/ movement of commodities to LGAs while between 15 and 19 December is slated for Data entry and collation.
Post implementation debriefing meeting of the activities is slated for December 23rd 2014.
