The Administrator of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Moses Olorunleke has expressed gratitude to members of All Progressives Congress (APC) for coming out en masse to grace the Kogi West rally in Kabba on Tuesday.
Olorunleke, while speaking to newsmen in Lokoja, said the rally was a huge success.
“It has become crystal clear that the good people of Kogi West are solidly behind the people oriented policies of President Muhammadu Buhari and his political son, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for a continuous service to the people.
“I must thank the defectors for their support but I urge them to beware of the antics of desperadoes who go about deceiving the people. The APC remains intact in the State and it is mentally, intellectually and physically ready to end the age-long underdevelopment that had enveloped the state under the last administrations.
“Governor Yahaya Bello as a leader is committed to his political promises. As promised, payment of salaries and pension arrears of serving and retired civil servants in the state and local government has commenced.
“As this rally has shown, all the media rants of the opposing individuals are no reflection of what is truly on ground and has shown that elections are not won on social media or on pages of the dailies,” he said.
He advised the new members to continue to see the APC as a platform that will give them the recognition and attention they deserved, stressing that they should work for the success of the party.
He noted that Kogi West will continue to support President Buhari and Governor Bello in the years to come.
