Mallam Yusuf Abdullahi has promised to help enhance the wellbeing of Lokoja electorate through quality representation in the state Assembly.
Abdullahi made this known during a chat with newsmen in Lokoja on Saturday.
He lamented the present representation the area has witnessed over the years, describing it as falling below the minimum standard. He assured that if elected it would be business unusual.
Abdullahi, a major contender for the Lokoja I state constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly, promised that if elected, his representation will be a model that would offer service to the people and make the constituency the envy of all.
He said his aspiration to contest for the forthcoming APC primaries is borne out of the need to make representation as a model that will attract life-touching democracy dividends.
The aspirant pledged that he will make laws that will make life more meaningful for his constituents, adding that his people have long suffered neglect.
He said having made positive impacts on the lives of the people of his district over the years, having the instrumentality of serving in the State Assembly would offer him the opportunity to do more for the people.
He described the APC as a party that is credible, appealed for a free and fair primaries that would help the party gain it rightful place.
He advised against impunity and imposition of candidates, stressing that such tendencies would rub negatively on the party.
Mallam Abdullahi assured that if elected he would make the issues of women, and youths a priority.
