The attention of Lokoja Local Government Area PDP Excos have been drawn to a social media (Facebook) publication of Thursday the 27th December, 2018 on Distinguished Sen. Dino Melaye’s Christmas rice gift and the distributions procedure administered by his Campaign Deputy D.G. of Lokoja/KKF Federal Constituency, Hon. El-Shetima Peter Agbogun.
The party wishes to strengthen the records of distribution procedure against the misrepresentation of facts by one Tom Sankara Kelvin, the Facebook publisher as follows:
1. That Dist. Sen. Dino Melaye made critical consultations with the PDP leadership to approve the appointment of Hon. El-Shetima Petter Agbogun based on his records of credibility, enduring experience, competence and reputable personage in addition to the party’s recommendation.
2. That Sen. Dino’s Christmas rice gift was allocated with a clear templates for distribution. 50 bags of the said rice was slated for the Lokoja LG party for onward distribution across the 10 wards.
3. That Hon. El-Shetima Petter Agbogun, being the Deputy Director for Lokoja/KKF, convened a meeting of all the campaign stakeholders ie, the two Local Governments party Chairmen, Sen. Dino campaign organization Coordinators of the LGA, the three state assembly candidates, the house of Representatives Candidate and other members of the Diratorates where the items and the distribution template were presented in the spiny of transparency.
4. That the said rice distribution was done according to the template and produce administered collectively by the party, all the candidates and Sen. Dino campaign organization to the various beneficiaries on Monday the 24th December, 2018.
Consequently, the party hereby disclaims the position of the said Tom Sankara Kelvin on Facebook or any such misleading position portrayed by any single or group of persons on this matter as it relates to our highly respected Hon. El-Shetima Petter Agbogun, Distinguished Sen. Dino Melaye, our esteemed party Excos the rice distribution procedure or any matter connected therewith.
