Lokoja I: Babadoko Emerges PDP House of Assembly Candidate

Hon. Sulaiman Babadoko has emerged as the House of Assembly candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Lokoja I Constituency.
Babadoko, who was a member of the House between 2011 and 2015, polled 34 votes to emerge winner of the PDP primary election held in Lokoja on Thursday.

 

The former lawmaker defeated two other contestants, Suleiman Babasule and Gwadabe Umar.

Speaking with newsmen after the primary election, Babadoko said his victory is dedicated to all those who contested with him.

 

He assured that if elected he would work to improve on the wellbeing of his constituency in terms of infrastructure and empowerment.

Babadoko will slug it out with flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Isah Umar in the much anticipated 2019 general elections.
