The House of Assembly candidate of Sustainable Development Party (SNP), Hon Farouk Umar Bakabe has expressed confidence that no candidate from the All Progressive Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other political parties will defeat him in the 2019 electoral contest for Lokoja I constituency seat.
Hon Farouk made this known while addressing newsmen at the state secretariat of SNP in Lokoja on Monday.
The Assembly hopeful said he served his constituents well as a youth leader and ward governor which was the remote reason his people stood by him during the primary election as well as ensured that he obtained the party’s ticket for fruitful and result-oriented representation at the state assembly.
He maintained that his romance with the youths coupled with his community service achievements endeared him to his constituents.
According to him, though some disgruntled elements will attempt to cause confusion and rancour to disrupt the electoral process, however, his landslide victory at the primary election will be replicated in the 2019 general elections.
He added that he is optimistic that he will floor his co-contestants and emerge victorious in the 2019 House of Assembly general elections.
