The traditional Hakimi of Lokoja Ward C, Malam Abubakar Ladan has commended Hon. Bin-ebaiya Shehu for embarking on repairs of water pipes in the state capital.
Speaking at the site of the ongoing water project, Ladan appealed to well spirited individuals to emulate Bin-ebaiya. He described him as a patriotic son of Lokoja.
“Every political colossus the world over essentially need grassroots support of the populace particularly before the flag-off of electioneering campaign.
“In order to secure people’s mandate, a grassroot politician must have sold his political ideology to the people of his immediate community, as charity they say begins at home.
“And one of the easy ways to do that is to identify with their (people), immediate needs and endeavor to solve it according to his financial strength.
“Undoubtedly, goodness to people is one of the main factors that characterized one’s popularity within an environments and even beyond. In view of the above, the Chairmanship Aspirant for Lokoja Local Government Council, Hon. Bin-ebaiya Tijjani Shehu (Hon. BEST), undertook the water reticulation project to alleviate the problems of acute water supply been face in some area within the traditional wards of Lokoja.
“With this singular gesture, Hon BEST, as fondly called by his admirers, had gathered many friends and supporters across all the political parties in Lokoja Local Government and beyond,” he said.
Many who spoke with this reporter pointed out that the contributions by Bin-ebaiya towards the development of his community could be regard as the commencement of his BEST political establishment in Lokoja Local Government area in particular and the state at large.
