As 2019 approaches, political permutation by political gladiators is taken shape at both the state and the Local especially within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kogi state.
As election are scheduled to take place in the nearby future, hopes and expectations of party members are that better people with proven integrity holds the affairs of the party system at various levels in the local, states and the federation at large.
Hajiya Fatima Marka is one woman among many other party loyalist whose penchant support for the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and Late Rt Hon Buba Jibril has given her labeled of ‘a die hard APC’ woman in Lokoja local government.
Considering her background as a grass root mobiliser, records has it that she is a talented woman in setting up good agenda for women of young and aged any where she goes, always busy in working out something for the women. She is known to be a woman of substance, a crusaders of women liberation and good mobilizer for young adults.
Hajiya marka fondly call by her admirers “Mai Jama’a” started her political career as woman leader in ward E . She is a woman of highly integrity. Marka came from one of the second ward in Lokoja Local Government largest where her politically prowess made her to brilliantly performed beyond expectations, becoming one of the local government elderstateswoman and a voice to reckon with at the local council.
She later served as the intimate adviser to late Hon Buba Jibril on women affairs of Lokoja and Kogi local government Areas with proven integrity and hard work she became a backbone to the then late Rt Hon Umar Buba Jibril.
Hajiya Marka will be a political wisdom if the Kogi state APC structure will have her as a worthy partner that will help in mobilizing the women for the sake of the party in the state, this woman is highly endowed zest abilities and potentials that is capable of pulling women, Youths, from the width and breadth of the state.
The record is still counting in favor of this intelligent woman to have championed the course of Late Buba on MMK Legacy Project where they massively support Alhaji Mabo Kassim to return the green chamber as Hon Buba’s replacement.
Seeing her strides in galvanising support of the then PDP administration, when the wind of change blew against PDP, Marka became one of the few women people that brought about the existence of All Progressives Congress in Lokoja local government.
Hajia Marka is full of political zeal who can never say no to even impossibilities, her ideology has it that in her is politics and outside her is politics, indeed a political woman by nature, no wonder she is being nick named as ‘Political Action Woman’.
One thing that you cannot take from this woman is her attitude of given taking care of the less privileged in our society, her benevolent nature made her good name of woman of the people.
A good Muslim whose pious heart of kindness cut across all religions and tribes.
