It is with a deep sense of loss we received the sad news of the demise of one of our foremost leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ankpa Local Government Area and the Chairman of Elder Advisory Council in Kogi East Senatorial District, Alhaji Ibrahim Linco Ocheje.
Alhaji Ibrahim who was born 69 years ago passed on yesterdayย Friday, 21 June 2019 after a brief illness.
Alhaji Linco Ibrahim, a sincere politician and elder statesman will be remembered for his sincerity and passion for genuine development of the state, whose death has created a vacuum that will be hard to fill.
We, the seventh Assembly wish to commiserate with the immediate family of the late political icon, the people of Ankpa Local Government, APC in Kogi State and Nigeria over the death of a rare gem who throughout his lifetime has contributed in no small measure to the economic and political development of not only the state but the entire country.
On behalf of the entire members of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly, I hereby sympathize with the family membersย for the demise of our leader and businessman who devoted his life to the service of God and humanity.
It is our prayer that God in His infinite mercy will grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May God Almighty grant his soul eternal repose. Amen.
