As preparations towards the 19th October, 2024 local government elections in Kogi State draws nearer, leaders and stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alefere, ward 06 Orekere of Mopa Amuro LGA have endorsed the current Caretaker Transition Committee (CTC) Chairman, Hon Ademola Bello (Destiny).
According to the group, the decision was made in the best interest of Alefere people, and the decision was taken after hours of deliberations at a meeting in Lokoja on Thursday.
A press statement issued by Mr David Mark Abayomi, stated that the call for the meeting and endorsement of the current CTC of the LGA was necessary based on his effective and impressive leadership quality which has carried all segments along in policies and programmes.
“Alefere in Ward 06 is a very sensitive place in the ward and the local government at large. We have unanimously expressed confidence in the ability of Hon Ademola Bello to continue to operate an open door policies to the satisfaction of all,” he said.
He noted that the caretaker chairman has shown his desire to ensure human capital development and effective management of the resources of Mopa Amuro Local Government as he has demonstrated since his appointment over six months ago.
