- Urges Electorate To Vote Massively For The Party
A stalwart of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Okene II constituency, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oniwon (Kanali) has appealed to electorate from the area to turn out in mass and vote the chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the party in the December 12 local government elections.
He solicited support for the chairmanship flagbearer and other councilorship candidates from the eleven wards of the council.
Dr. Yahaya who was also a State House of Assembly aspirant in the 2019 general elections made the call in a message to his supporters and good people of the area ahead of the Saturday council polls in the state.

According to the medical doctor turned politician, the candidature of Engr Abdulrazaq Muhammad was a right decision by the party in view of his capacity to unite the people, his uncommon humility and style of leadership while he served as the council administrator.
He said Hon. Abdulrazaq diligently handled the affairs of the local government especially in the area of security of lives and property, peaceful coexistence, youth and women empowerment, scholarship for students, payment of WAEC fees for the less privilege among others.
He stated that a vote for Abdulrazaq is a vote for peace and development.
“I urge my families, supporters, party members and indeed every holder of PVC to come out in their numbers and vote massively for APC,” he said.
