A chairmanship aspirant in Kabba-Bunu local government, Hon Ariyo Adebayo has pledged his hundred percent loyalty to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Kabba/Bunu APC stakeholders and the people of the local government.
He made the pledge while addressing newsmen in Lokoja yesterda
Ariyo, who was recently endorsed as the sole candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) by leaders and stakeholders of the party in Kabba-Bunu, expressed gratitude to God and party stakeholders under the leadership of Rt Hon Matthew Kolawole for finding him worthy to be given the opportunity to serve in the local government.
The APC chairmanship aspirant said he never believed his emergence as the candidate of the party will be so smooth and rancour free, noting that he now believes it is only God that crown whoever He desires.
Ariyo said the APC Kabba/Bunu has further demonstrated to the world that a son of nobody can become somebody and pointed out that his emergence is still a mystery.
He promised to guard the confidence reposed in him jealously and make judicious use of the resources that will be available in line with the needs of the people and in consonant with the programs and policies of the New Direction Agenda in the local government.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello who provided the enabling environment for someone like him to emerge.
He urged other aspirants to see his emergence as an act of God, hence the need for them to rally round him for the overall success of the party, noting that he will personally visit some of the aggrieved persons to talk to them.
He appreciated the stakeholders under the leadership of Prince Matthew Kolawole, Commander Jerry Omodara, Hon Wemi Jones, the local government party executives led by Hon Olorunmosule Elisha, the Wards Chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, secretaries and other excos for their roles in the process that lead to his emergence.
