Ahead of Saturday council polls, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mopamuro local government, Kogi state, Hon Charles Omoyele has predicted landslide victory for the ruling party.
Omoyele made this known at the APC campaign grand finale in Mopa ward 03 on Tuesday.
Omoyele described the combination of Hon Moses Sunday Alumo, Mrs Bukola Obajemu and all the ten councillors as “too hot to handle for the dying and decimated opposition Peoples Democratic Party in Mopamuro.”
The campaign rally which started from the Amuro axis of the local government ended with a grand finale in ward 03, the political ward of the party’s chairmanship candidate for the December 12 election, Hon Sunday Moses Alumo.
From Ilai, Ilemo to Okeagi, from Odole ward 1 to ward 2, from ward 4 Ileteju to ward 3 where the grand finale took place, the long train was received by enthusiastic party supporters and electorate.
Addressing enthusiastic party members and supporters, the Director General of the campaign, Hon Sogo Williams said the party is strategically poised to win the council election.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for giving the women fold a privilege to showcase leadership.
