19th October, 2024, Kogi state electorates would be filing out in their thousands to elect their respective local government Chairmen in the 21 LGAs.
Of particular interest and germane to our discourse is the one of Kabba-Bunu LG.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances and election manipulations by the electoral Umpire, (KOSIEC) the candidate to beat is no other person than – Barrister Segun Modeyin, who is the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Going by the wide acceptance and cult hero nature of this grassroot mobilizer, experience, capacity, integrity, intelligence quotient and impeccable pedigree, Segun Modeyin is coasting home to victory on Saturday as the duly elected Chairman of Kabba-Bunu LGA.
As a former Vice and Acting Chairman of the Council years back, through these experiences, Segun has gained a deep insight and understanding of the myraid of challenges bedeviling the local government.

Segun is giving the social mandate to navigate through the ship of the Kabba-Bunu LG post October 19th, he will sure provide infrastructural developments, security and human capital synergy etc that will be the cynosure of all eyes.
