The Olubunu of Bunu and Acting Chairman,
Okun Traditional Council,
Olle Bunu,
Kabba Bunu LGA.
Your Royal Majesty,

Indigenization of Herdsmen/Cattle Colony in Bunuland

Bunu Interest Group receives with dismay the recent announcement/directive by the Government of Kogi State of the indigenization of Fulani Herdsmen/cattle colony in Kogi State. As loyal and loving children of Bunuland, we want to use this medium to express our concerns and also make our position known to you.

Without prejudice or offence, we want to let you know that we do not want what has happened in some parts of Kogi State of recent to happen to our dear Bunuland. As a result of this, we want to let you know that we totally reject the policy in its entirety. We also implore your majesty to let the people in authority know that Bunu people will not want any policy that will mortgage our future thereby making our children and the future generations to become slaves in their God given land.

We want to sincerely assure your majesty of our loyalty and support as you fight and defend the course of Bunuland.

May God continue to grant you more wisdom in leading us Sir!

Engr. Solomon Medubu
(Secretary)
