Hon. Idris Hussein Idrisima has expressed shock over “the sudden death of Arch Umar Buba Jibril”.
In a press statement released in Abuja on Friday, Idrisima said the death of Buba was devastating.
“I received with shock, the sad news of the death of Arch Hon Umar Buba Jibril, Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives.
“The deceased was generous to a fault and a truly public spirited leader who gave away everything he owned, including his life, in order to uplift the dignity of the less fortunate Nigerians and his death has robbed the country of a true patriot, nationalist and peace maker.
“Even as we mourn his untimely death, we are consoled that he made quality contributions to the development of his state and lived a life worthy of emulation .
“There is no doubt that Kogi state has lost a gentleman, a certified performer whose legacies remain unmatched in the state”, he said.
