The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Kola Ologbondiyan, had joined in mourning the death of Hon Ayo Benjamin, said the PDP starlwart served as a political Pathfinder for the party.
Ologbondiyan, in a statement issued to newsmen, described the death of Hon. Ayo Benjamin as shocking. He said it came at a point when his wealth of experience, courage and energy were in optimum need in PDP and Kogi State.
He said Ayo Benjamin was a pillar of support of any course he believed in and was always ready to offer valuable contributions to achieve success.
The National Publicity Secretary pointed out that Hon. Ayo Benjamin was a political pathfinder for his people and Okunland in general, adding that he was a resilient political actor whose contributions to his political landscape are manifest.
Ologbondiyan prayed that God grant the immediate and extended family, friends and political associates of late Hon. Ayo Benjamin the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
