Lassa Fever: Senator Ogembe Describes Death of Dr Ahmed Idowu as a Great Loss to Ebira Nation

Senator Ahmed Ogembe representing Kogi Central senatorial district has described the death of the 30 years old doctor Ahmed Victor Idowu as a great  loss to the people of Kogi Central senatorial district and indeed Kogi state at large.
In a condolence message personally signed by the distinguished senator,  he described Dr Victor as a promising young man who was very passionate about the growth and development of Kogi Central.
“I met Dr Victor through one of my staff, I must say he was a perfect gentleman with a lot of ideas on how our area can move forward.
“He was one of those young men who believed in what we are doing to develop our constituency and impact the lives of our people positively.
“I am more saddened that he died in the line of duty while trying to save the life of other people.
“Victor died as a hero and I will miss him” Senator Ogembe said.
The senator expresses his condolence upon establishing contact with the members of his family to condole with them, Kogi state government, managements and staff of federal medical centre Lokoja, Nigerian Medical Association and Kogi people as a whole.
He prayed  to God to grant his soul eternal rest and fortitude for his family to be able to bear the irreparable loss.
Senator urged the Government to immortalize Late Dr Victor, because he was an hero who died saving peoples lives.
