The Kupa Development Association (KUDA), has, on behalf of the entire good people of the Kupa community, expressed deep shock and sadness over the news of the passing of the beloved father of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State.
A statement signed by President of KUDA, Abdulmalik Saidu and the Secretary Dr. Usman Abdulkadir said
“At this moment of grief, we stand in solidarity with the first family, the entire government, and the people of Kogi State over this irreparable loss.
KUDA noted that the late father lived a fulfilled life of dignity, wisdom, integrity, humility, and service to humanity. His values and guidance are evident in the remarkable leadership qualities demonstrated by His Excellency in running the affairs of our dear State.
“Indeed, to Allah we all belong, come from and to him we shall surely return.
“Though he has departed this earthly life, his memory and good works will remain evergreen in the hearts of all who knew him.
“We pray that Almighty Allah forgives him, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and comforts His Excellency, the family, and all Kogites.
“We express our deepest sympathy and unflinching support to the Governor and his family during this trying period,” the statement concluded.
