- Meets Heads of Security Agencies
The Vice Chancellor Kogi State University, Kabba Professor K.I.T. Eniola has called on security agencies to come up with pro-active measures to curtail any threat to security anywhere around the university communities.
Prof Eniola made the call during a meeting with heads of security agencies working within and around Kabba metropolis.
He assured them of the commitments of the university within the limits of available resources towards efficient performance of their duties
The meeting is a continuation regular security initiatives of the university under the leadership of Prof. Eniola.
In a release made available to newsmen on Thursday in Kabba by the Public Relations Officer of the University, Mr. Tade Oshaloto, Management under the Vice Chancellor is committed to a strong and efficient synergy between the university and the security community in the State.
Quoting the Chief Security Officer of the University, Mr. Samuel Olubato, the PRO noted that the Vice Chancellor appreciated the members of the KSU Kabba Security committee on their commitments toward ensuring that the university community enjoys peace, adding that the VC enjoined them to keep up the tempo.
The security agencies promised to synergize with the university in ensuring that the university is safe for both students and staff.
