KSU Alumni Passes Vote of No Confidence on VC Prof. Muhammad Abdulkadir

The Alumni Association of Kogi State University (KSU) has accused the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Muhammad Abdulkadir of incompetence, maladministration and misappropriation of fund.

In a communique released after a meeting of the Board of Trustees and concerned stakeholders of the University, the Association alleged that the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Bursar have been making unlawful withdrawal of fund running to Millions of naira from Alumni account.

The BoT passed a vote of no confidence on the Vice Chancellor and called the National Executive Council of the Alumni Association to take all legal steps towards taking full control of the Alumni Fund.

“We have noticed with disdain an orchestrated attempt by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Muhammed Abdulkadir, the Registrar, Alh. Abubakar Iduh and the Bursar, Alh. Y.A. Yahaya to cause crisis in the Alumni to enable them continue to loot from the Association’s treasury.

“Our attention has been drawn to the fact that the VC, Registrar and Bursar of the University have been secretly dipping their hands into the Alumni Fund and sharing same among themselves,” the communique read.

The communique was signed by Richard Oguche and Prince Ibrahim Alilu Sani, BoT chairman and secretary respectively.
