The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency (KOSSIPA), Hajiya Aisha Omade, has flagged off the distribution of 300 bags of rice to beneficiaries in Obeiba Community, Okehi Local Government Area, ahead of the Christmas festival.
The rice distribution, which has become an annual tradition of Hajiya Omade, was targeted at party faithfuls, community leaders, religious leaders, traditional rulers, and aged women, as part of efforts to ease the burden of the festive season and promote inclusive welfare.
The Christmas outreach is an initiative aimed at touching lives, restoring hope, and strengthening the bond between government and grassroots communities. The event was graced by the presence of respected leaders and stakeholders whose support continues to reinforce unity, service, and people-oriented governance.


The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Monday Amoka Eneji, who graced the occasion, commended Hajiya Aisha Omade for the noble gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that is strengthening the party and deepening grassroots support in Okehi LGA.
