A Pro-Smart Adeyemi group, SSA continuity has described the rumour going round the social media that Senator Smart Adeyemi is planning to run as Deputy Governor to an aspirant from Kogi East as false, malicious and an insult on the personality of the Senator.
In an exclusive telephone interview with our correspondent, the group spokes person said; please ignore the rumour, they are been sponsored by political enemies of the Senator in their desperate attempt to pitch him with his people. Senator Smart Adeyemi is too intelligent to be a Deputy Governor and hence will not descend so low.
“As far as we are concern, the Senator has not told anybody his next move politically, but I can assure you that he is not interested in deputising anybody.
“The Senator is focused in the pursuit of his mandate at the appeal court and we are confidence of victory in the end.
