The candidate of Action Alliance in the just conducted governorship election in Kogi state, Olayinka Braimoh as been described as a bridge between all strata of the society.
Giving preliminary report on the polls in Lokoja on Sunday, Coordinator of Bridge Movement for Braimoh, Richard Aro said Braimoh will not give up on his dreams for a prosperous Kogi state.
Aro stated that Olayinka Braimoh was an eye-opener in the electioneering process as he sincerely represents the aspiration and hope for a new Kogi state.
“He is youngest, most intelligent candidate with high moral standards. He is man of the masses. The bridge between the young and old, poor and well to do.
“Braimoh is a movement. We are not giving up,” he said.
Aro decried the unlawful detention of the Action Alliance candidate during Saturday poll, insisting that it was wrong to disenfranchise a governorship candidate over frivolous claims.
He, however, confirmed that Braimoh had been released and will soon address the unfolding situation on the governorship election.
