A youth group in Kogi central has declared that they cannot afford to return to what they vomited in 2003 on November 21, 2015.

The spokesman of Kogi Central Youth for Change, Comrade Solace Israel O. made this statement at the campaign rally organised for Peoples Democratic Party’s Idris Wada in Okene yesterday.

According to Solace, the Kogi chapter of All Progressive Congress, APC, is deceptive and they have resolved to return Captain Idris Ichala Wada and Arc. Yomi Awoniyi to lugard house.

“Kogi Central Youth for Change, KCYC, is a body that encompasses the youths from the five local government of Kogi state central senatorial district. This body was formed in May 2013 to bring all youths together in order to have a common voice that can stand and prevail politically without being used as political thugs.

“Kogi Central Youth for Change is a political body that run its activities and campaign through intelligent political discernment and strategic approach in winning the youths of central senatorial
district to make our candidate victorious in any political poll.

“We actually work for the success of APC in the last presidential election in anticipation that the party will be more productive, more sanitized and more of people orientated but to our dismay, the party have just deceived the people with their campaign promises. The youth of Kogi central are not happy with the recent development in the party and we won’t be deceived and be used again.

According to Comrade Abdulgafar  Ganiu Etudaiye, President KCYC, “Kogi Central youth will not go back their vomit that they spit out in the year 2003 after the state have suffered setbacks in all ramifications under the rulership of Prince Abubakar Audu. APC has deceived us with the anti-corruption crusade promise by choosing a thief that siphoned our 11billion naira and allow workers to suffer untold hardship for months without being paid even 1% of their salary.

“Kogi Central Youth will not support a candidate that has stolen our facilities and equipment from our Nursing school Obangede to his hometown in Ogbonicha.

“Kogi Central youth will not support a tyrannical, despotic, oppressive, and authoritarian ruler that will siphoned our money for personal gains and ephemeral fame. We are not interested on people that point left hand to Kogi central. The left hand especially in African setting is seen as a hand of offense meant to do odd things. Kogi people needs a leader and not a ruler by tyranny “without a
leader black ants are set into confusion. Kogi Central Youth will not allow ruler that will continue to love disunity.

“We cannot vote for someone who has a case with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for misappropriation, embezzlement and siphoning of 11billion naira to come and steal more of the state money even though they have stupidly said they will return it after their victory taking Kogi people for fools.

“We have discovered APC to be like a team that has gathered players with injury, especially in Kogi state, there gubernatorial candidate is with injury and it is all about his antecedents when he was
Governor. They went ahead to add pepper to the injury by picking a foreign player to play and rule in our home base politics as deputy governor to there injured candidate.

“PDP lead government in Kogi state for the past four years have being doing there best in paying salary and arrears of workers, infrastructural development is obvious in the state. Youths has gotten
the attention of this administration,we now have a modern recreation training centre for youths,we have YAD4KOGI, a program that is empowering Kogi youths.

I urge the youth of Kogi state to vote wisely for Captain Idris Wada and Arch. Yomi Awoniyi. Our PVC is our weapon of mass destruction or Mass restoration, it can either make or mar our state,we cannot be used as thugs again, we shall rise with our PVC and vote for mass restoration, PDP.
