Respect, honour and gratitude to the entire people of Kogi State who have resolved to follow the path of sanity,  morality  and prosperity  in putting personality first as against what I can term  blind and unwarranted party loyality at this material time in our political system.

It is quite clear to the wise, the learned and the elites that in governance,  what matter most is the personality to lead and not the political parties.

While I have personally resolved to go quiet and concentrate on my grassroot work to send a clear message to the apologists of Prince Abubakar Audu  and indeed the party, APC, for their decision to force a rejected, a self acclaim Messiah and an unrepentant thief on the good people of Kogi State as candidate in this election,  the recent noise and confusion generated by the coming of PYO to present the Emperor to the people of Kogi Central warrants my decision to once again send a message to my fellow progressives in Kogi state.

Honestly speaking,  it is not a fiction that the good people of Kogi Central trooped out enmass to welcome his excellency, the vice president of this country, that should not be mistaken as adoption and an overwhelming support for a rejected stone as a choice candidate in the forth coming gubernatorial election. Prince Abubakar Audu himself have been told in clear terms that Ebira people owe him no vote, not in this election and never will that happen till he retires from politics.

So, what is all the noise about?  Is anyone thinking that PYO has any plan on his own to support Audu going by his antecedents?  Would it not amount to an act of disrespect for our nation if we decided not to welcome our vice president simply because Audu is in his company?  Without mixing facts with lies, we all know that in politics,  one do certain things unintended in order to please his or her master and that was what played out in Kogi state.

APC as a party is what it is today not because of any other person but the doggedness and the integrity of president Muhammad Buhari who is known for no nonsense and his inherent attributes to adhere to the rules of law and absolute readiness to change the situation of our country for the better.

I am once again happy that he has continued to demonstrate that especially for his decision to steer clear out of Audu’s candidacy despite all the propaganda plotted by the conglomerates of corrupt individuals whose dubious ways of looting public funds have been closed down and are now turning to Kogi state to support a criminal who is standing trial for corruption to sustain their depleted source of income in what I can term business as usual should he make it into Lugard house, God forbid.

To the generality of Kogi State, choosing His Excellency Capt. Idris I. Wada as against the Emperor who planted the seed of marginalization in Kogi state which later gave birth to an ideology call Power shift is a thing of morality,  Godliness and absolute commitment to rescue our dear state from the hands of the looters while avoiding unnecessary external interference in Kogi politics.  Truth and sincerity of purpose are strong ingredients in a society where morality,  civility and God consciousness prevail, I hereby call on all and sundry to desist from self deceit and wake up to the reality on ground and save our dear state from the hands of a rejected stone who is now hiding under the change mantra orchestrated by PMB even while he has refused to change his crude way of getting things done.

A man who is prepared to lead must learn to humble himself before his people which have been demonstrated by Capt Wada all through his outing in this campaign.  It is no longer news that someone was received with satchet water and stone in Koton karfe simply because he has refused to change. So,  must someone hide a goat among the sheeps in order to mislead my people?

Can Audu ever change when the man piloting the change agents have denounced him? Well,  time shall tell.

To my dear people of Kogi Central , we are beautifully made by God for a purpose which are absolute honesty and sincerity of purpose in all aspects of our relationship with mankind  as  attributes of our origin “Ebira “. What went wrong?  Why are we in this condition? Why have we refuse to move forward?  These are among many questions calling for an answer which will serve as motive for all inclusive Ebira conference to come up immediately after this election to be powered by Ebira Youth Movement (EYM),  God willing.

As we prepare to elect yet another governor to pilot our dear state for the next four years,  permit me once again to voice out the truth as a true son of the soil.

While appreciating you for standing once again against the choice of the emperor, a thief who robbed us of our only specialist hospital (Oh God!) and tried all he could to suppress the land, permit me to let us know that for the first time in our political history,  God decided to smile on us when he gave our very own Alh. Yahaya Bello (Fairplus)  to lead the state. A candidate who was well embraced and supported by youth  across KW and KE to lead the state but was pulled down by us,  “the Ebira Judas”. Even when it was clear that he is the most fit to go into that primary,  in our usual way of shooting ourselves and end up in regret,  our self centered, myopic and self acclaim leaders went out to kill our very own which brought us to where we are today.

So,  shall we still continue to start claiming that the Igala or even the Okuns are our enemies even when the hand writing is so clear on the wall?  Can we continue to wallow in self pity and allow the emperor to ascend to the throne to continue his insult on us?  Are we going to fold our hands and mortgage our future in APC so that Audu will come and remove more of our social amenities even when he never added value to our lives as a people in his six years of tyrannical reign?  The choice is ours for it is needless telling a blind man that rain is falling.

It is unfortunate that some unscrupulous elements in Ebira land are patronizing the agenda of Audu even when his supporters from  Kogi East took his hatred against us to the public to give Ebira people a well deserved insult of our lives as published on The Nation News paper of 25th October 2015, page 50, signed by Dr. Ocheni. It will only take someone who lack value and respect for his origin to go ahead canvassing for votes for the Emperor in Ebira land and Pharm. Asuku can never be a party to that.

While living above board as people known for honesty,  let me point out here that we have lost it totally in our bid to become governor of Kogi State come 2016, and that the game is now clearly between Wada and Audu being the candidates of the two leading political parties in Nigeria.  Let no one deceive you that any of our three (3) unpopular candidates in this election can make a governor. Even if they decide to step down for one,  Ebira votes cannot make anyone a governor in Kogi state evidence from the outcome of our votes for Alh.  Kabiru Shu’aibu and even Sen. Mohammad  Ohiare in the past.

Even while I share our pain that we are where we are today,  we shouldn’t be deceived into wasting our votes on any of these candidates and thereby allowing the emperor to have his way.

We have a choice in voting for Capt. Idris I  Wada who has only four years to go while we prepare our house against 2019.

The Igala, if you ask me, are never our enemies,  our enemies are known to us and we can’t hide the truth.  Even if u do,  I “Pharm. Asuku” will never do. It is a thing of morality and a wise decision to cast our votes for  Wada if not for anything but for his humility,  uprightness and Godliness as he has never taken what belongs to us neither has he ever insulted any son of Ebira as against the Emperor.

Let no one deceive you, there is no such thing as change in Audu’s dictionary  and no one can ever give what he doesn’t possess.

In conclusion, I am calling on all those who truly have the interest of our state at heart to rally round Capt. Idris I.  Wada to save our dear state from the demons and looters in human flesh .

God bless u all,

God bless  Kogi state

God bless Nigeria.
