All Progressive Congress, APC governorship candidate in Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu has promised to pay all the salary arrears accrued to the local government workers in Kogi State, if voted into power in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
Audu who made the pledge while addressing large crowd of supporters during the APC Governorship campaign rally in Dekina, Dekina local government area Kogi state yesterday, said that APC government will transform the state.
Audu told the large crowd that if voted to power again he will revive Royal Palm Oil Company at Egume, just as he promised to rehabilitate Abocho -Ogbabo road and other roads in Dekina local government.
The former Commissioner and ex- Board of Trustee member of PDP, Hajia Halima Alfa stated that a vote for APC is a vote for change, urging electorate to vote for Prince Abubarka Audu during the governorship election.
Alfa explained that everyone is aware of Audu’s unprecedented achievements in the state in the area of infrastructural development, saying that people of Dekina have benefited from good governance of Audu’s administration in the past and assured that if given the mandate again he would do more for the people of the area.
The former PDP governorship aspirant who recently defected to APC, Alhaji Isah Jubrin (Echocho) called on the people of the area to vote for Audu, noting that the former governor has been tested and trusted.
He stated that Kogi will not be the same again under the APC administration anc called on the electorate to vote for change in the State.
