Ahead of next month’s governorship election in Kogi State, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Audu Abubakar and the national leadership of the party Wednesday held a closed door meeting.

The meeting, which lasted five hours, was attended by the APC National Working Committee members and APC stakeholders from Kogi State.

The agenda of the meeting was not made public, but sources at the APC National Secretariat revealed that the meeting centred on the plans for the flag-off Audu’ campaign and the visit of the governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada to the President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Wada last week visited the President where the governorship election in Kogi State was among the issues discussed.
