The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Hon. Pius G. Kolawole wish to extend his hearty felicitation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the New Direction family and the entire people of Kogi State on the celebration of Kogi @26.
Kogi state was born with optimism and passion envisaged for its greatness – as it plays the linkage of connecting and networking the north and the southern part Nigeria. The state was destined for economic, social and political greatness. The popular nomenclature “The confluence of opportunity” the state is known for was not a mismatch but, a well thought out coinage to befit the envious strategic position of the state in Nigeria.
The administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has swam and not drown in many daring endeavours where others dare not try and succeeded. We are building a Kogi State with systems that are not only suitable, but with lifespan that will outlive generations unborn.
On this auspicious day, we thank all kogites for their resilience and prayer. We also appreciate the wide support and encouragement from you. Kogi is in safe hands, and together, we shall deliver a more advanced and developed Kogi State through the New Direction.
