The leadership of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State chapter has commended security agencies in the state for their selfless service to the nation.
The youth council gave the commendations when the state chairman of NYCN, Comrade Israel Alonge and his team paid a working visit to various security agencies in the state on Wednesday.
At the Maigumeri Army Barracks, Lokoja, the Commandant of the Command, Major General Elvis Njoku welcomed the team. He charged youths to stay clear of vices that will endanger their lives negatively.
Alonge thanked the Nigeria Army for their selfless sacrifices towards ensuring the safety of the Country’s territorial integrity. He charged the Nigeria Army to continue to play her role towards strengthening our democratic values.
At the State Command Headquarters of Nigeria Police Force, the State Commissioner Hakeem Busari, in his welcome address, thanked the number one youth of Kogi state and his team for finding time for this visit.
Busari charged youths of Kogi State to engage themselves in activities that will be productive for a successful life than putting their lives in risk of social vices.
He pledged to collaborate with the Council on security and youth related issues.
Alonge thanked the Police Commissioner for the warm reception. He appealed for collaboration and youth participation in ensuring peaceful coexistence and security.
Other executives in the entourage of the State Chairman includes the State Deputy Chairman, Ali Sunday; organizing secretary East, Abdullahi Ismail; Provost Marshal, Comrade Eniola and the welfare secretary East, Benjamin Ojodale.
