Yahaya Bello, our dear Governor, I do not think workers salaries is a gift or any favour from you. It is their entitlement.

Blackmailing the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Chairman shows lack of ideas on the part of government.

Please enough of this bully, threat and harassment!

I wish to advise Yahaya Bello to stop this  intimidation strategy on the good people of kogi state and do the needful by paying Workers salaries.

Afterall, the Holy Book, Bible makes explicit that ” The laborer deserves his wages.” (1 Timothy 5:18 .)

The Holy Quran on the other hand says “appropriate compensation must be given to the work done”

Abu Sa‘eed Al-Khudri also narrated that the Prophet (PBUH), says: “Whoever employs someone to work for him, he must specify for him his wage .” [‘Abdur-Razzaaq]

The message here is clear, Labourers deserve their wages before their sweat dries

This hadith further explains: workers are to be paid on time.  If a person is hired to do a job, he should be paid immediately.

Fairness and justice towards workers is a noble cause and an act that leads to success and salvation.

Governor Bello must put an end to this show of shame. Stop blackmailing Kogi state workers and the NLC Chairman, instead pay them their money.

The claims by Yahaya Bello’s  lackeys that Kogi State NLC Chairman, Comrade Onuh Edoka, demands of 100 Million Naira from the governor shows how degenerated the office of the governor has become and a glaring lack of ideas on how to address the escalating problem on ground.

The good people of Kogi state know among the duo who is guilty of offering bribe. History is staring at us directly. We remember very well the story of the House of Assembly G5 and 50 million Naira bribe.  We know the accusation from Mustapha Audu on how the APC Chairman sold his late father votes to the usurper in government house, we read in an online newspaper the colour of water that passed under the bridge between Kogi State Government and the Kogi State Governorship Tribunal where whooping sums was alleged to have exchanged hands.

We know how the NLC Chairman was offered 100 million to betray the cause of the organized labour and how he rejected the bribe.

The social media has gone agog again this evening. Kogi State Government under the watch of young Governor Bello is dancing naked in the market square! Cyber terrorist are fully out , showing their own level of ignorance and lack of idea. they have nothing to offer and their damage control unit is very weak and suffering from lack of innovation.

The story of the NLC Chairman demanding 100 Million Naira from Governor Bello is nothing but a cheap blackmail to dent the good image of NLC Chairman.

Any attempt to blackmail NLC Chairman  and other Labour leaders in Kogi state will be seen as a coup against the will of the long-suffering Kogites who are resisting the reign of terror and militocrazy by Governor Bello and his colony of devils.

The good people of Kogi State are already aware of the idea cooked behind this scandalous news making around.

It is no longer news that the life of NLC Chairman is under threat as he was hitherto kidnapped by the one who calls himself Emperor Herod sometimes past in quest to demand for Workers salaries.

However, Governor Bello must remember that He is the Governor not an unrepentant Emperor as he has labelled himself now.

And he should also know that Kogi state is not his empire and that we are in the era of democracy where people hold Government Accountable .

Perhaps, very shortly, he would be asked to respond to this reign of terror either by the Judiciary or by God.

In summary, it is barbaric, misleading and, anti-human for Bello to launch uncoordinated propaganda against the NLC Chairman. Thus, it shows how the government of Kogi state lack ideas of good governance, hence, the blame game, name calling and outright lie against organized Labour.

Bello is hereby called upon to pay workers salaries for which he has collected bailout instead of keeping the Bailout in fixed deposit account to yield interest for him.
