The Koto Karfe and Lokoja Federal Constituency has disclosed that the Kogi West Senatorial District is not vacant come 2015.
The constituency insists that the present occupant of the seat, Senator Smart Adeyemi, had not betrayed on his mandate freely given by his people and since he has been acting their script as the masses representative.
It will be recalled that Kabba/Ijumu Federal Constituency endorsed him two weeks ago for another term.
Senator Adeyemi, who is currently representing the district under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is the Senate Committee Chairman on Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The stakeholders of the constituency rising from a meeting, explained that “we wish to state categorically that the stalwarts of the constituency have resolved unanimously to support the re-election of Senator Adeyemi, in 2015.
“It has become expedient that for us not to only provide for constituency, the needful democratic dividends and services, but also to join hands with them in line with their whims and aspirations in picking candidates for forthcoming elections.”
The meeting, in a communique read by Mr Ben Amupitan, stated that what necessitated the endorsement and support was Adeyemi’s “exceptional performance and his determination to reduce hardship to insignificant level.”
