Have you considered the youthfulness in this man, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi (OBA), his capacity and experience?
Omoluabi is an epitome of competency; talking about National Assembly workings and grass root politics. He has over time acquainted himself with great experience, knowledge and understanding of leadership skills needed.
Taking a step backwards, I remember how he used to talk about the New Nigeria Project and the better tomorrow with youth at the helm of affairs back in those days. His clamour for emancipation of youth in government has always been his bane of argument as he believes “without youth in governance and even in law making process in Nigeria, all considered efforts made by the so called leaders will not be results oriented as the youth has taken over the world politics, policies, governance and power. For Nigeria to be rated and consider serious in achieving the required growth needed for its teaming youth without the youth in government will amount to fetching water in an empty basket and a colossal waste of time”.
Today, he is taking giant stride to aspire for the Kogi West Senate seat which I consider a right thinking and a daring step just as he has always envisaged. I don’t just owe him this write up but also owe him my unflinching support to making sure this dream come to a reality.
It is therefore important to note that in the face of the current political terrain in Kogi west, the best option will be Olabode Omoluabi Adeyemi for obvious reasons, not just because of his youthfulness but for the fact that he is best and most appropriate person among the top three candidates.
The two considered leaders have of course offered their best and I give them kudos. But for us to get the best, I honestly think it’s time we change the narrative. We as a people have lost many chances, opportunities and privileges as a result of running battles between the two previous leaders who at some point has had a pic with the executive at the state level. In other words, low performance has always been the order of the day. So, for this obvious reason, I do think we should give this young blood an opportunity to showcase what he has got.
Having studied his person and after due diligence and painstaking consideration, I do know for a fact that, it can only gets better with the likes of Omoluabi as our representative at the Senate for us now.
Kogi West need a representative that will attract all encompassing opportunities to her constituency and not just to leave and fight another day. We have had enough of boiled leaders.
It is now time for the job, let’s start afresh with Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi. It is not about political party but about the development of Kogi West. He will surely make us proud.
