After the dismal outing of the All Progressives Congress in the Presidential and National Assembly election in Kogi West, the actual political worth of appointees from the senatorial district was exposed in contrast with the misleading impression the Governor was given.
For Kingsley Fanwo to urge the people of the state to dismiss the genuine concern of West Kogites on the plans of appointees in Okunland to unleash violence as “fake alert of violence” and another “ploy by the PDP to scare voters away from voting’, speaks volume about his lack of truthfulness.

What could be the apt description of the violence experienced in Kogi East and Central in the last election?
To state that the peaceful manner the election was conducted and the outcome in Kogi West was discomforting to the State Government is the truth.
The juvenile reaction of the Governor to Okun appointees was equally disturbing thereby putting them under intense pressure that has pushed them to desperation to win at all cost.
To say the February 23 victory of PDP in Kogi West is pyrrhic and questionable confirms the need for Kingsley Fanwo to be urgently exorcised of a dominant lying demon that has taken over his soul.
Kingsley Fanwo continue to behave in an extreme and unacceptable way, and have very powerful penchant for lying that he cannot control.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is the militarization and violence peddled by the APC that has the potential to cause chaos and confusion in the State, if not stopped.

Does Kingsley Fanwo think his promise of adequate security is reassuring considering the fact that suspects apprehended before election for violent conduct are now free courtesy, Kogi State Government?
How many persons have the security agencies arrested in the violence unleashed by hoodlums allegedly carrying out Kogi State governor instructions?
Kingsley Fanwo should just remind the Governor that, election is a celebration of democracy and not a theater of war with the hope that reason will be allowed to prevail.
Hon. Taofiq Isah, Ijumu Local Government Administrator has been strutting all over the place like a rabid canine threatening fire and brimstone due to fear of losing his job if he fails to win.
Sadly, others who ought to call him to order share his desperation. The Governor is pissed and Okun appointees are determined to do any and everything to be in his good book again. The morbid fear of losing their jobs have made many thrown caution to the winds.
As sure as day will break after each night, Kogi West, particularly Okunland will witness extreme violence during the election of 9th March, 2019 unless Governor Yahaya Bello calls his appointees to order.
