Kogi Varsity Ranked 74th in AD Scientists Index, Dr Ifatimehin Ranked Best Scientist in KSU

The Alper-Doger Scientific Index, a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and scientific productivity of individual scientists, has named Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba as the 74th top University in Nigeria.

In a data obtained from the World Scientist and University Rankings via https://www.adscientificindex.com, Dr. Olarewaju Oluseyi Ifatimehin, a lecturer at KSU, currently ranks number one, having satisfied requirements on various academic areas of interest with focus on Google Scholar’s total h-index scores enlisted for all academicians by the analysis system.

Dr. Ifatimehin, who is of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies in Kogi State University, Anyigba topped rankings covering relevant citations, research material on remote sensing, urban geography, geographic information systems, natural sciences, amongst others.

Unlike other systems that provide evaluations of journals and universities, AD provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists.

Also, “AD Scientific Index” is the first and only study that shows the total and the last five-year productivity coefficients of scientists based on the h-index and i10 index scores and citations in Google Scholar. In other words, the “AD Scientific Index” provides both the academic ranking and analysis results.
