Coach Fatai Osho of Kogi United Football Club of Lokoja on Sunday commended the referees who officiated the club’s Week Four match against Supreme Court Football Club in Abuja.

Osho told newsmen after the club lost 0-1 to Supreme Court FC in a 2013/2014 Nigeria National League (NNL) match that the referees did well in spite of the club’s defeat.

The reports NNL Group A match was played at the Old Parade Ground sports centre.

A 58th minute strike from substitute Endurance Osaghai had separated the two sides in the match.

“The officiating here today (Sunday) is the best that my club has seen so far this season and if we have this kind of officiating in all our leagues, it will help us grow.

“This is because this is the first time we are getting a good officiating playing away from home.

“And I am happy because this is what we always advocate during our home matches. So, if we can get such kind of officiating away from home, it is a good one,’’ Osho said.
