A top source close to the state governor, Captain Idris Wada who pleaded anonymity indicated that it may be the end of the road for the Commissioner should the team get relegated, noting “if Kogi United goes down, he is fired”.

The governor according to source, promised to give special attention and full-support to the club last three games including the rescheduled match against FC Taraba on Saturday in desperate measure to stay the club in the Nigeria National League.
