A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Kogi State, Hon. Idris Omawodi Attadegbe, says the state is too rich to be poor considering its enormous God-given resources.
Attadegbe, from Kogi East Senatorial District, in a statement, said only political will and commitment would make the state attain the objectives of its creation.
He said if elected, he would explore to the fullest, the human and material resources for the benefit of the state.
“When the right and articulated leaders are not pace, we cannot see positive results. There would be difference in our approach and methodology in managing the affairs of the state if we assume the mantle of leadership in November this year,” he said.
He said the PDP remained the best platform to achieve his ambition.
“The situation in the state currently has made the party the only alternative to fall back on to emancipate the citizens from abject poverty they are currently being subjected to by the current administration in the state,” he said.
