A frontline politician and public commentator, Alhaji Abubakar Rajab has cried out that Kogi State treasury is being held to ransom by impostors.
Alhaji Rajab said the impostors manipulated the governorship election to impose a wrongful candidate on the good people of Kogi State.
He said, “we can never feel the impact of governance if these tyrants that imprisoned the governor does not desist from these ungodly acts. Remember that the wrath of God awaits all the transgressors”
“Until the right thing is done in Kogi politics, until the right Governor that is loved by his people takes over the mantle of leadership in Kogi State, until the leaders realise that they have offended one of their brother whose heart is dear to them, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is assumed to have been prepared to buried in Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole. Kogi will be a case for which nobody will ever voted for PDP anymore”, he warned.
He lamented that inspite of the huge mineral deposits and immense human resources, its sad that Kogi State is enveloped in a cosmetic abject poverty by its own people.
“Its really painful when we see the pains of poverty on the faces of our fellow Kogites and you can just do little or nothing. Kogi is in the high cry of intervention of the Almighty Allah. God will see us through.
