The Kogi State Commissioner for Rural development, Hon Enema Paul has said all is in place for the commissioning of already completed motorized boreholes in the state. This was contained in his remarks to mark the year 2017 world water day.
The commissioner who maintained that rural water supply is important for a healthy living stated the completed schemes to include Zango-Daji in Adavi LGA, Abobo in Adavi LGA, Isanlu in Yagba East LGA, Aja Akagwu in Dekina LGA, Okula Alloma in Ofu LGA , Odidoko in Olamaboro LGA, Resuscitation in Aja Agwu in Dekina LGA and Resuscitation in Abejukolo Egume.
While noting that water is life, he emphasized on the commitment of the Kogi State government toward the welfare of citizens even as he said the new direction is not just a word but a phenomenon that has come to stay.
Recall that the commissioner has late last year commissioned series of borehole across the state and the offing commissioning shall be making it the second phase of completed water supply schemes under the commissioner’s watch.
