Kogi State Commissioner for information, Dr Ohikere, has stated that Kogi State had been under-reported in the last 10 months, and stressed the need for the media to project the achievements of the State Governor to the people of the State and other Nigerians.
Dr Ohikere’s statement confirmed Prince Akanmode’s earlier statement that the numerous landmark projects of the present administration of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris lacked due publicity.
The Commissioner said the State government had recorded numerous and tangible achievements in all sectors, and also promised that the government would do more in the remaining period.
He enjoined the media to be prepared to sensitize the general public ahead of the December 3rd gubernatorial elections in the State.
