The Forum Coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, of the twenty one local government areas in Kogi State, Comrade Daniel Edoka has felicitated with members of the body across the State on the celebration of the new year.
In a new year message on Thursday, Comrade Daniel Edoka said the the new year offers greater challenges, while expressing optimism that there will be greater prospects.
He commended the NYCN Coordinators in the twenty one Local Government Areas for their resilience and loyalty, saying there is hope of a greater NYCN that Will be of benefit to all.
While wishing its leaders and members a memorable celebration, the Forum Coordinator appealed to them to renew their commitment in the new year with a view to attaining set objectives despite some challenges.
“On behalf of the Local Government Coordinators in the twenty one local government areas, I sincerely thank our leaders at the local government level for their sincere services, the youth council is glad to witness the new year, full of hope and promises. We are expectant of more attention to the youths as a group and we are not in double that the Governor will do more in the new year”, he stated.
In another development, the Forum Coordinator has felicitaed with the Chief Servant of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
In a message of felicitation, Comrade Daniel Edoka described the Governor’s birthday as worthwhile, stressing that the governance has been characterized by sincerity, prudent management of resources and humility which has been widely acknowledged.
He urged other leaders to emulate the Governor’s leadership lifestyle and wished him greater years ahead full of good health and abundance of God’s blessings.
“Once again, we are happy to celebrate with our Governor who is marking his birthday today. This celebration is unique because the birthday coincides with the new year celebration, meaning Governor Ododo is special, unique in many respects. I pray that God Almighty will continue to grant him and his family good health and the needed wisdom to pilot the affairs of Kogi State to enviable position”, Comrade Edoka remarked.
