Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Momoh Jimoh Lawal, has described the death of the former first lady, Hajia Zainab Idris, wife of the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, as shocking and devastating.
In a condolence message signed his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Felix Udebu, Lawal said the death was a colossal loss not only to the immediate family and Kogi-east senatorial district, but the entire state.
He said Hajia Zainab contributed to the growth of the state through her pet project. The speaker prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
