Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Matthew Kolawole has felicitated with and congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 58th Independence Anniversary celebration.
He tasked Nigerians to continue to work hard in making the Nigeria project to work, urging them to support and cooperate with the government to actualize the country of our dreams.
In a press statement signed by his chief press secretary, Femi Olugbemi, Kolawole appealed to Nigerians to remain steadfast with the current leadership in the country to consolidate on its achievements in all sectors in the last three and half years in office.
He commended the resilience of the APC administration ably led by President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello at the national and state levels respectively for their vision, determination and commitment to reposition both the country and the state for the prosperity of the people.
He said Nigeria is a great nation with huge potentials, adding that the APC possesses the right men with great acumen to move the country forward.
He urged the people to continue to contribute their quota in making the country great noting, that the country at 58 is a call to work and work more for the country to take her right position among the comity of nations.
